Lighthouses are a popular theme in Michigan and especially in my current residence of Traverse City. I’ve explored several Michigan lighthouses and just think they have a wonderful history about them. This drawing was also completed mainly for practice, only taking a few hours and done on simple 10″x8″ sketch paper. I love Michigan, and I’m sure I’ll have plenty more Michigan-inspired drawings in the future.
